Polyester Filter Fabrics are used for solid-liquid separation on various types of belt filters in a wide variety of industries. They are typically made of wear resistant PET, which gives them an excellent dimensional stability and high tensile strength. Joined by a suitable type of seam – permanent or detachable– they are installed as endless belts.

Polyester Filter Fabrics used for dewatering of sludge with hard and very abrasive particles or those used in alkaline environment, are made of PAD yarns or of the combination of PAD and PET yarns to reach the optimum dimensional stability, resistance to abrasion and to high pH.

Examples of Application:

● Dewatering of paper sludge and pulp
● Dewatering of municipal and industrial sludge
● Thickening of sludge in gravity thickeners
● Dewatering of fine particle suspensions in vacuum belt filters (FGD, coal, fine minerals, etc.)
